I have been drinking the koolaid for about 15 years. This year I decided to try ReJeX. I'm in the middle of doing a full detail on my Black CTS-V. I will report back when finished. Zaino will be a tough act to follow but thought it was time.

Mike (emtw),
Thanks for the very kind words. It was a pleasure to meet you. If you decide on swapping the exhaust, don't forget to give me a call. Thanks again for the business.

I'm debating trying Zaino on my LMB C6. Is there any place local to get some? Do I need to set aside a whole weekend or can it be done in one day?

Tom

One Day.

Tom, if you'd like, I'll come over to your house and you can use some of my Zaino. I'd love to show you how to use it. LeMans Blue is an amazing color to coat with Zaino.. After 6 years of Zainoing an Electron Blue C5 I'd love to see your LeMans Blue all Zaino'd up.........
As far as getting it local, I can tell you all about that too
Carl is our local Zaino Boss.....

Zaino is incredible I use AIO on my daily drivers and classic truck. I live outside of Harrisburg and when I am in the area for work I purchase my Zaino products at Injection Connection. I will be back down in the next few weeks. Carl is also very accommodating and knowledgeable about Zaino. He told me exactly where to find the information on his website.

I have been using Zaino products for about 15 years. This year when it was time to reorder I loaded up my cart with ZFX (I don't like AIO, leaves swirls on my black car) 2 bottles of Z5 and a couple of bottles of Z2 along with the Zaino clay bar. My total was 101.00 before shipping.

I decided to read some more and found that people were having very good results with Rejex. So I picked up a Mothers clay kit (9.99) and 2 16oz bottles of Reject (19.99 buy one get one free). My total was 29.98.

My items arrived quickly. I started by washing my CTS-V with dawn. Followed by a complete clay bar treatment. I then washed the car again and used Griots machine polish 3 with the Griots polisher. This is the same routine I use with Zaino. If using Zaino, the next step would be mix up some ZFX with Z5, apply 2 costs using a spray detailer in between coats. I would then apply several costs of Z2 over the next few days.

This time I followed my usual steps but instead of mixing, just used Rejex. I can tell you Rejex is easier to put on as you don't need to apply it as thinly as Zaino. Also, Rejex was MUCH easier to remove. With Zaino, if you use to much, it is very difficult to get off. It smears. You MUST put Zaino on very thin in order to get it off. This is not the case with Rejex. I know I put it on much thicker than Zaino but it just wiped right off. No pressure at all.

As for durability, that will take some time to determine but the shine looks as good as if not better than Zaino and it was much cheaper and easier to apply and remove. It is raining here today, and I'm not much of a photographer, but will snap some pictures and post when the weather clears.

I think Zaino makes a good product but there are other products out there and so far, I'm very happy with Rejex and if it holds up as well as Zaino, I'm switching for all my cars.

I don't know why you would have swirls after Z-AIO, I did a black Lamborghini Aventador on Long Island last week with Z-AIO, Flex buffer with Lake Country Green Smart Pad and there were no marks or scratches when I was done, they would have been easy to see because the guys garage had more marble than my house has. If you can't wipe on and wipe off your Zaino you are using too much, it's that simple I know because in a hurry I find myself pouring it on, and it just wastes product and takes longer to dry. The biggest problem with Rejex is keeping it out of the sun and weather for 12 hours after applying it, and least that is what people seem to bitch about on the forums, the dry time. Use whatever works best for you

I have used Rejex and found it to be OK. It does have a tendency to re-haze up if the humidity is high. As for Zaino AiO I have never had a problem with swirls of marks of any kind. I like to top off with Z8 though.
