Quick question about the Cavalcade.

Is the cavalcade location on,,Old York Rd,,or,,,York Rd. (263),,all the promos say Old York Rd. and there is a difference. I'm not real familiar with the area but I do know where "Old York Rd" cuts off from 263

It's Old York Road there and it's below where it cuts off to center bridge. Right before you get to the Neshaminy bridge in Warwick Township.

Wink

hey Fireman:
we City folk know (Old) York Road as Rt. 611 (aka Broad Street). The suburbanites know York Road as Rt. 263. Two totally different roads!! But the Cavalcade at the Middle Bucks Institute of Tech. is in Jamison above Almshouse Road on Rt. 263 before the Bucks County Country Club.
Hope this helps,
Joel

Hey fire,,,,,,,,, I see you were a Philadelphia fireman,,,,,,,,,. I hope they didn't let you drive the fire engine. You seem to have a hard time finding things,,,,, I remember back when you were trying to find the VE club months ago and drove right past it without finding it.

Here is how to get to the Cavalcade, don't be concerned with street names, that really doesn't matter.

From Street Rd (rte 132) and Bustleton Ave (rte 532) Feasterville, PA

1) Follow route 132 west for 6.4 miles to route 263
2) At this point (rte 132 & 263), turn right onto rte 263.
3) Follow route 263 for 4.4 miles to Middle Bucks County Vocational Tech School on your left.
4) Turn left into the school entrance.
5) Look for Russ or Henry 50 yards ahead directing you to your parking spot.

Red face

OK, now let me get this straight: It's a Yugo car show at the Montgo School For Idiots near Pat's Steaks on Wed. 9/21 with a rain date of Dec. 5th and an alternate location at the WG NAS on Rt. 202 in Mt. Laurel, NJ??? I'll get directions from Ed.

Ask me about North Philly,,not this suburb stuff and I'll drive circles around you with a ladder truck or engine.

BTW the reason I asked is that another Phila guy I told about the cavalcade is coming and I wanted him to be sure to know where it was,,I do know how to use map quest. We city boys get nose bleeds in them thar hoods in the burbs where all the rich folks lives.

I believe it when you say "I'll drive circles around you". I kinda remember you doing that trying to find the VE club.

See you at the cavalcade, if you find it.

No one told me the club sat back from the road about a 1/2 mile or so,,,and I didn't drive around in circles,,,more like upseys and downseys on Davisville Rd. (I really butchered those spellings),,, I'll be at the cavalcade,,,I volunteered to help out,,,probably with the parking,,,,which is good as I'll just direct people to,,,,,,,,Old York Road. lol

BTW if anyone is interested If you go to map quest and type in Rt 263 & Bristol Rd in Warrington Pa you'll see where Old York Rd veers off from York Rd just south of Bristol Rd. This was where the initial confusion came from.
