Here's what I was able to get out of it and it was 100% showroom stock, street tires amd I don't know how to drive an Automatic too well at the track. (that was evident if you were there)
This is the largest of all the AMG cars Mercedes offers too. The S55, 4 door sedan weighing in at 4862 lbs. With only a 2.030 60' it turned 12.567 @ 117mph My first attempt at the track was pretty funny. I pulled up to the line and all of a sudden I'm staging with my right foot on the brake and then I think, "I can't do it this way" I quick swap feet and all of a sudden they flash a Pro Tree at me. I was lost, I spun horriblly and still ran 13.237 @ 111. I ran it 6 times, 1st 2 were in the low 13's then 12's the rest of the day. A fun car, but not really designed for the track. It was great going out to dinner with Pat Saturday night..

Way to go Glenn...
You hit it right on for sure.. I thought 12.9... haha! The MPH BLOWS away mine of 115.55... Love to see what that could do with some drag radials & traction! 12.1?????? 120+ MPH??????? Where did you go to dinner, Capital Grille? |

Didn't know that you talked with him. That E was a nice machine and I'm sure the S is finer still. Very Cool!
