Richy,

My Vette is tucked away but is available to me in as long as it takes to pull the cover off unplug the battery tender. Until we see snow the Vette sees action.

As for idol worship, I worship my family and friends since they are the important part of my life and I feel lucky to have them. I love my Vette but it's still just a car and I'm sure GM would be happy to make me another one.

As much as it revolts and pains me to agree with Little Richy I have to this time . I took the Vette out yesterday and was almost tempted to put the top down. Mine stays awake all year if there's no snow, salt or ice on the road it wants to go out and play.

Don and Richy, I have to agree with you in that this is why we have them. Mark couldn't have said it better in that these beautiful machines
are ment for driving and can be replaced easily.

However, this conservative guy wants to keep his miles down and
all the road poop off. I get tired of cars in about a year so it is something to look forward to in a few months and maybe like getting a new car in the spring. I am not ready to let this one go.

Lastly, This cheap guy really liked the refund check I got in the mail
for adjusting my insurance to off road!

I put my Corvette away every year from December through February and pay $11/month insurance during that period.

I, unlike most of you do not love the car. I just have fun with it in the nice weather months when I can drive it hard and race it.

I have no interest in driving it in the winter months when the roads are cold and crappy.

I do NOT miss driving it one bit during the winter months. I just don't get the thrill that you guys do... SO, I save a few insurance dollars.
