Back when the internet just started to get together, you know after Al Gore invented it, you could dial up and get on different boards or forums as they're called now. I believe the UBB stood for Universal Bulletin Board because it didn't matter what kind of platform you had, i.e. Apple, Commadore, Radio Shack, etc., you could "talk" to other geeks, I mean people about what ever the topic of the board was. I guess I'm showing my age eh?

Thanks for the welcome, and I'm looking forward to meeting you all as well! After looking around the site a little I learned the club was started in 1958 wow. At Sonny Stein's Chevrolet now there's a name I haven't heard in many years. I grew up not far from that dealership! Sounds like fun ahead War Bonnet

Hi War Bonnet joining the club is simple just CLICK HERE to download the application. Either mail it in or bring it to one of our meetings. It's reviewed by the Board. Then there is the firewalk of death you must perform while you carry the club banner above your head. Peice of cake.

Don
Was that the shot of you doing the fire walk when you joined CCDV? and BTW: What's the dark stain on the front of your shorts? Were you trying to douse the fire? That's a no no!

Your right!! It is the color of my 71 coupe. They (GM) had quite unusual paint names didn't they?
Looking forward to meeting you as well Mr. President. WB

Judging from the low miles on your car I'm guessing you don't drive it much. I look forward to seeing it in person. Not many big block 71's running around.

Great color too!

Best regards,
Mark

Steel Cities Grey is my all time favorite Corvette color. When I bought my last C3 I tried to find one but couldn't. I hear GM will be offering a retro color Corvette in the near future. Should be interesting to see what they do.

Hi Mark, Your right my car does have extreemly low milage on it, however the credit belongs to the previous owners as I have owned it for only one year now. Iv'e spoken to the three owners before me, and have doc's to prove the odometer is true. It became a Trailer Queen in 72! However I do plan on driving it! It's in like new condition and factory original down to the valve caps. I searched around the country for over a year before locating this beauty. Not only the BB it has deluxe leather interior,AM/FM, white letter tires, M21 trans, and 4 speed. That's it no power steering, brakes or air. The first owner said he wanted pure horsepower, and that's wht it's got! WB
