If you take a good look at the CCDV logo Delaware Valley gets "lost" due to color of the background. We have this problem with shirts ,hats as well.
The question is can we change some colors around ?

I'm sure that can be arranged. The state's outsourcing agent for the actual manufaturing of the plates offers Graphic Design help and would probably charge us $50 to do that BUT I can have a friend do it for me with Photoshop BEFORE we would submit the Logo to the state.

I have noticed the same thing and have had that in mind to sharpen the image to make it more clear....

That is the configuration PennDOT has gone to in 2006.
Only minor change. The 5 digits will ALL start with a 2 on our plates and will be issued in sequence of when ordered.

The stacked CC WILL be at the right and there is no choice on those letters. THEY are designated by PennDOT.

The "CORVETTE CLUB DELAWARE VALLEY" at the bottom of the plate will most likely NOT work. I am sure that will be turned down when the design process starts. Too looooong. maybe I can have CCDV.COM down there instead.

Glenn I have downloaded every CCDV logo that I was able to find and they were not of high quality. If there is a high resolution logo file out there I am not aware of it. The logo you see on the plate is actually a window sticker I scanned and tried to clean up a bit. The colors are not very bright. If we asked the graphics folks at PENNDOT to brighten up the gold, for instance, before they send us the proof do you think they would?
Also I was not able to insert a 2 I do not know what font they use.

I will get the logo cleaned up before the final process.

PS Pavorsky, since you're from NJ, you can stay out of this thread....

Not bad BUT the DELAWARE VALLEY text will need to be in white.

I am asking a very good friend in Florida who is a Photoshop guru to help me. I have not heard back from her yet.

Glenn - Can we make the Corvette Club Delaware Valley lettering smaller so we can have it at the bottom?

Thanks

I will have to talk to the people about the bottom of the plate. I was thinking CCDV.COM would be pretty cool. People would see that on your car and probably check it (website) out.

CORVETTE CLUB OF DELAWARE VALLEY at the bottom of the plate would actually be redundant since it is in the logo to the left.

What do you think of CCDV.COM, what does EVERYONE think?
