If you look at posting # 3 you'll see that the vertical number pertain to NASCAR car numbers or NBA numbers. I simply cut and pasted one of those and added the CCDV stuff. I would imagine that instead of N97 we may be able to put CCDV vertically instead. When we get into the actual design we will find out what we can and can't do.

Thanks, Don for all the time you have put into the research.

Great idea for the club.

We're in for one.

Jean
IF you get one of these plates for your Corvette you will loose your TCHRPET plate. Did you know that?

I don't think you'd want to do that, would you?

Glenn,
Do think this will be a go.......it appears on the surface that there is a good amount of interest. If so do you have any idea of the time frame.

Thanks,
Jim

I'll get together with Don T Thursday night and discuss.

Once we get ready to go I will organize this whole thing and make a nice post here and a mass emailing to let EVERYONE know the plan.

Wink

I'll take at least 1! The Vette will have to keep it's Classic Tag but my daily beater (& maybe Sue's) will definitely be sportin a CCDV plate! Thanks guys for your time & effort into trying to fire up this project.
Joel

I definitely feel that this will be a go. At the next Board meeting Oct. 20th I will present the Board with all the facts and figures needed to make a decision. We will take a vote and go from there. So far we have quite a bit of interest and I have only brought this up on the CCDV website. Once we put this in the Gas Cap and mass emailing I feel that we will get a even a larger response. And remember this will be an ongoing program we can offer these plates for as long as PENNDOT continues the program. From what i've seen most of the folks that have specialty plates are seriously considering CCDV plates for their family cars, me too. And I think that the advertizing value of these plate could possibly increase the club's membership many Vette owners will hear of the CCDV for the first time by seeing one of these plates.

Hey Glenn,
definately wouldn't replace the teacher's pet license plate, but the DMZ-317* that's on my Jetta would sure like to sport a license plate with CCDV. Right now it's got the window cling and the plastic one for the front of a car in the back window, think the actual tag would look much better!
See you Thursday Till then

What would I get if I said I could arrange for all of us to get our current vanity tags transferred to the CCDV tags?
