Boardwalk Corvettes

"A Day At The Beach Corvette Style" Sunday Sept. 22, 2013

Anyone going to this?

In past few years CCDV has been awarded the $100 swizzle stick for the Best Club Participation.

It's a fun day! Let's all try to win it again.

Any suggestions on Hotels to stay at in the area? Or would it just make sense to stay in Atlantic City the night before and drive the half hour?

Wink

As usual, Sue & I will be there. However, I suggest you look for a place to stay in O.C. I personally would not want to leave a Vette anywhere in AC overnight!

Thanks Joel. But that did not exactly answer my question. Besides, when was the last time you stayed at the Borgata or Revel Hotels? I am not as concerned as you seem to be. But thanks for your opinion. I will take it under advisement. Anyone else have a Hotel suggestion in Ocean City???

If you want a great place to stay, try The Flanders Hotel at 11th & The Boardwalk. Sherry and I own a beautiful penthouse unit there. It's awesome, Dave

Joel, I leave my car in the parking garage all the time, there are about 4 or 5 employes at Borgata who have C-5 and C-6's. there are cameras all over the place. I park on the 5th floor on the closed side of the garage to keep the salt goo to a minimum. You will have to take your time entering and leaving the garage at Borgata. My car is lowered and makes it ok.

The Flanders is very nice, own a condo right next door at Dolphin Court. I'm not sure if I can make the 22nd, I will be there if I can though, it's a great show.

Any members that are driving down to the show can meet me at Yesterdays Restaurant OCNJ at 8:30 AM in the parking lot. It's easy to find:

I spoke to Ed Bonk and he would like everyone to meet at his sports bar at 7:AM. From there you will all head down to OCNJ and stop at Fank Farleys rest stop to re group. From there follow these instructions :
VIA the parkway,
Your going to take the 2nd. Ocean City exit off the Parkway, exit 25. The first Ocean City exit is the downtown exit, pass that, pay the toll and then take the next exit. As you come off the exit you will come down to a light. You will make a left at that light and that is Roosevelt Blvd. and continue down the road 1-2 miles and you will see Yesterday's on your right. You won't have to cross the highway, just pull in and look for my black GS. From there we will continue to Bay Ave. We can line up at Bay ave right before the airport entrance and then continue into the facility. BRING YOU INSURANCE CARD AND REGISTRATION CARD, you will not be permitted into the show without it ! For real !

Yesterday's Restaurant
316 Roosevelt Blvd.
Mamora NJ 08223

You can call me or Ed if you get jammed up or lost or whatever.

Ed Bonk 267-253-7460
Nick. 215-870-1510

Ed to call Nick at various intervals through out the trip to OCNJ As I will need your ETA
BE SAFE AND HAVE FUN.
