Al: you got that right! Those were all pretty nice rides (except I don't think the Jeeps are in the same category). I had a friend in high school who owned a '63 greenish/gold Avanti. That was a sharp car! Another good friend later owned a Javelin with the 290 and that car was nice but certainly not as sharp as an AMX with a 390!!

Was it the (red, white & blue) Rebel that had the huge (functional) air scoop on the hood? That was another AMC winner.
