Thumbs up Kudos to Steve Spence, Steve Fisher & Mark Sandler

Nice weather On Monday huh? Nothing like a ride in your Vette during a "Noreaster" storm. Well having made an appointment over a month ago at Bryner to get a laundry list of upgrades and maintenance things done to the car I had no choice but to go. With a state of emergency declared in NJ, I carefully made it to Bryner by 7:45am with the help of my mental GPS when some of the roads were closed or backed up beyond belief. I finally get to Bryner and the Garage guy comes out and says you might as well go home because we have a power outage. Not a chance after what I went thru to get here. He opens up and after a couple of snowfilled slides I get into the garage. A cheerful Steve Fisher and Steve Spence stare at me in disbelief wondering how I ever made it from Voorhees NJ. BTW (Michelin makes an amazing unintended snow tire, no traction issues whatsoever). The "Steves" promise to see what they can get done without power. There is dedication for you! Mark Sandler graciously picked me up in that mess at 8am. We went out to Breakfast and hung out at his house most of the day. After a delicious late lunch (prepared by Mark) I called Steve to find out they had completed everything I asked for! Amazing huh? Mark dropped me off and an exhausted (lunchless) Steve Spence walked me thru everything he did. Took off all 4 of the tires and added the tps sensors, Swapped old and installed New brake calipers (powder coated) on the car, Brake fluid flush, Trans fluid flush, replaced new radiator fluid, replaced new spark plugs and after market wires, took the interior console apart and added new shift and emergency brake boot, check some problems with a code on the computer and couple of other things. All this, without power for half the day. Who is the da Man? But you already new that didn't you. Thanks to all of the above for service and friendship beyond the call of duty! L.P.

Thats actually a pretty cool story. It was a horrible day to be driving in general, let along the vette. And its pretty nice that they actually got some work done without power. I imagine they got power back at some point since I can't see how they got a tire off/on the rim to change TPS sensors without a tire machine.

Thats great Lee, glad to hear you didn't have to take it back home in that nasty azz weather. I didn't know that Mark was the new courtesy car driver for Vette customers at Bryner. Way to go Mark, a nicer guy you couldn't find!

Good deal! Too bad you had a Monday appointment because Tuesday's lunch special at Mark's Cafe is homemade meatloaf with garlic mashed and peach cobbler.
