Two new beaters at our house

I finally found a daily driver to replace the Jeep... A pre-owned quartz 05 Jaguar X-Type Sport. 3.0 V6, AWD, Auto-Stick, ABS, Navigation, Stability Ctrl, Moonroof, Leather, Rain Sensing Wipers, Sport Package (seats, suspension, ground effects +), Premium Package, Alpine Premium Sound, Homelink, 225/40ZR18. Already looking for mods.

Christine chose a silver 06 Volvo S40 2.4i to replace her Volvo V70 wagon... Auto-Stick, Heated seats, 6-CD, moonroof. She's already looking for her next car.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures.

Congrats on your new rides! I guess next to the Vette these would be considered beaters, still very nice!

My Jag does not leak oil, although it is a Ford.

Haven't heard of any oil related problems associated with the Ford Duratec 3.0 engine. But this is going to be a lot harder to work on than the Jeep, that's for sure. Tony, when is your lift going in buddy?

Carl, Joe..
ALL Jags leak oil... Its just a matter of time...!

No getting around it...
It WILL happen..
Kinda like the column lock..... Its inevitable..

Ask ANY Jag current or former owner..
They'll tell you..

Well, I don't have an argument that can transcend all of eternity. So I guess I'll just say, thanks for the well wishes, El.

I only keep my cars a few years, my neighbor has two Jags and a marble floor garage, have not seen any oils marks on the marble yet.

I didn't say Jags leak oil to make you feel bad, it was just an old joke that everybody knows & has heard before..

If you want to know about their recent reliability, I can put you in touch with one of my neighbors who has returned 3 them.. .
All cars have problems, I have even heard of Corvette's being lemons.
