It's a little chunky looking from that angle but it looks a bit better from other angles. At least GM didn't skimp in the powertrain dept and made the high output dohc V6 from the CTS standard with 300hp, 400hp and up with V8 engines and 6speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmissions in all models. All at reasonable prices as well. I think the new 5th gen Camaro will sell well, at least in the first year of production. I like that they are offering things like a Hurst short throw shifter as an option. Too bad they don't offer that on Corvettes.

Below is a link to a nice Camaro video on Jay Leno's garage.com

I like it overall. The interior looks kind of cheap to me, but the outside lines look great. I love the fact of the v8 options. Get em now while you can before somthing happens to them. I am glad GM has brought the Camaro back. I am tired of the econ-boxes. Who sez we can't have the best of both worlds. Corvette LS 1,2 and 3 have proven that high Hp can still have good gas mileage. It will be interesting to see how the Camaro matches up to the Mustang...

I don't like it! I think they could have done a better job designing it.
I've had 69 Camaros in the past.
A 69 SS/RS 396-375 sold after our son was born.
A 69 Z-28, Replaced with a 70 BB Chevelle.
A 69 Z-28 relica with a 427, 4spd, 488 gears. It was a Monster and a little rough on fuel. But who cared at $.35 a gallon for 260 Sunoco.
GM has taken a Classic design and made a Mockery out of it. Some things need to be left alone.

Rick, that's just a standard typical C2 guy reply. Nothing wrong with it, BUT, we're into the 21st century now, things change.

This car is the 21st century Camaro and it's what people want, the age group you were when you purchased your Camaro's listed above...

How do you feel about a 2008 Z06 compared to 63 Split Window coupe? I'd guess, it's a mockery of a fine automobile of the 60's also.. That change is a much more drastic of a change than the 1969 to 2010 Camaro.

I fell in love with the 63 SWC when I was a little guy but am also in love with the C5's and C6's... "Roll with the Changes" (I love that song)

You're only young once, get used to it. Until they invent a time machine we have to live in the present. Now that Ford has successfully created a modern 68 Mustang with their current offering (and I like it) what's next..... the Mustang II?

Whatever anyone thinks of the new Camaro one thing is for sure, it will run rings around the 69 in every performance category.

A modern 68? Only Ford could do that.

I especially like the look of the Bullet Edition. The gussied up Shelby and GT500's are over the top for me. Yvonne's basic black (no spoilers or stripes) Mustang looks great.

We can always lover the minivan, put some bigger sway bars it, a nice wheel and tire package, cat back high flow exhaust and competition harnesses for the boys. The rides would be more like the clip #3 in the link below
