where to get TRAILING ARMS rebuilt

Tim has been working on his '72 for a looong time; now he needs both trailing arms rebuilt.
Money IS an issue, so we are looking beyond Eckler's and Zip,

The best price and best warranty is Ikerd's (Bedford IL).
Corvette Stainless Steal Breaks-or CSSB (Miami FL) is a far second.
We've never heard of either.

Do you think we should bite the bullet & go w/ an expensive-but better known-outfit?
or-Is there a LOCAL place to get them rebuilt?

Thanks very much

Try the corvette guys in Beloit Wisconsin. Reasonable price. About half that of Ecklers. I'm running on a pair of them now.

Thumbs up

Look at Bair's Corvette in Linesville PA. I have one side spindle assy from them. they guarantee their work. you can exchange or have your trailing arms rebuilt for $349. If your trailing arms are bad then you would need to replace them also. http://www.bairs.com/

Thumbs up

I had Corvette Paramedics in Mount Holly, NJ do our's several years ago. They were reasonably priced and looked so nice I wanted to put them on the mantle in a frame as opposed to installing them on the '76. I don't know if they still provide this service, but I highly recommend them.

Yup, that was me. Sorry, did not look at the date and must have assumed post was new. I'm just a rookie here.
