Wink Acrylic Glass Top Repair / Care

I have some small spider cracks in my acrylic glass top. Has anyone worked on trying to repair or refinish their top? I tried wet sanding the area with a 40 micron grit sand paper (by hand) and the scratches have minimized but are still there. I was using an orbital buffer with a rubbing compound and then used some carnauba wax to wax over it. It is a bit better but since I know where it is, it catches my eye and bugs me. I've read that using windex on the glass top dries out the protective coating that GM uses on the top. I've come across the following site and wanted to share it with the group to see if anyone is using this product. I would be interested in any comments.

2014 C7, Stingray, Crystal Red Metallic with Z51 spoiler.
2006 Monterey Red Coupe; Z51 Package, LS2 / LT3; Lloyds Mats; Corsa Sport Exhaust ; Lots of Zaino; - The car I never thought I could own.

vettecaster is an unknown quantity at this point
Glass tops seem to be a bit of a mystery. I've spoken with Vette owners who have never had problems and others (like me) who have developed imperfections despite the car being covered. I figure I will have to eventually replace the glass top ($$$$) or simply go back to the painted top I only use during the summer. I'm also curious if an aftermarket product will solve the problem.
