JIM THORPE TRIP is COMPLETELY BOOKED We Will meet at the Allentown Servive Plaza at 7:45 sharp. It is miles if you would like you should have something to eat for breakfast or bring some snacks. We will depart the Service Plaza at 8:00.We should arrive at #9 mine by 9:15am. While they prepare us for the tour you may look at the museum and its history.

Tour No.9 Mine & Museum at 9:45 (Location: 9 Dock St, Lansford, Pa 18232)
(This will be a private tour for CCDV ) Explore the worlds oldest continuously operated anthracite coal mine (1855-1972)
*Ride by rail 1600'into the mountain
*Inspect a 900' deep mine shaft
*Explore an underground muleway
*Roam the "Wash Shanty" Museum

Their will be parking available across from Asa Packer Mansion $6.00 per vehicle all day.

Old Jail Museum.Tour begins at 11:45 Adults: $7.00 Senior: 65+$6.00 Location: ( 128 W Broadway, Jim Thorpe)

Free time/ lunch:
After the jail house museum you may choose to get lunch or shop around town. Several of the places to eat are as follows:
