i noticed some replies suggested removing some oil.
never do that unless you know for a fact that all was not drained.
better to be safe not sorry. additional quart or so will not
hurt, but the other direction can be disasterous.
see my previous reply for the safest way to handle this.
by the way with a z06 it's recommended that an additional quart
be put in during racing in the factory video about the car.

You have to watch though, adding anymore than a quart can be just as bad as to little oil.
