Piston slap or other engine noise

I don't have any problems but I am just curious if anyone has had the issue of piston slap or lifter noise addressed by the dealer under warranty and the TSB. If so what was the fix and how cooperative was the dealer? This seems to be a recurring issue in several of Chevy's models.
