CCDV Avatar on Corvetteforum.com

This is pretty cool! I submitted the CCDV Emblem to the Corvetteforum.com gang and it was accepted by Troy Roberts and is now available for CCDV members ONLY to use as your Avatar on the Corvetteforum. The Avatar shown below is an example of what you can now use to show your club affiliation.

How is that done? I went to the avatar section of the Corvette Forum. I saw many avatars, but no way to use the CCDV logo.

On the Corvetteforum after loggining in:
Click on My Profile
Then Click on Avatar
Then scroll down the list of Avatar pictures and click on the little circle to the left/bottom of the CCDV avatar.
NOW don't forget this last step.
Click Save and you're done.

It worked just fine for me. Hope you get it!

Rich, as far as signatures not showing on the Corvette forum! They turned them off a few months ago as default! If you want them to show again you have to activate that option. Here's how.
Once logged into the Corvetteforum:
On the left side click on My Profile
Then click on User Options
Next scroll down to the choice of "Show Signatures" and be sure Show Signatures appears in the box.
Then of course, scroll to the bottom and click Save
That's it

I received a notice that there were two threads on this subject so I merged this thread with the one in the updates forum to make it easier for members to respond. I chose to leave it in this forum since it pertains to CCDV members. Nothing was deleted except the duplicate original message.

Glenn, thanks for letting us know the avatar is available. Perhaps if they accept gifs we can make one with a transparent background so it looks good with all color schemes. Does anyone know who has all the original CCDV artwork in order to start with the best images?
