I'm sure you remember my Corvette had to get flat-bedded to the dealer a few days ago. The Tech Post that got way out of control. http://www.ccdv.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=3075
Well, it's back home now and everything's fine.
It had a bad Throttle Position Sensor. Spencer replaced the Sensor Pack ( part# 17113566) and away we went.
Thanks for the few reponses that were serious and showed concern in the origional post. I did learn one thing though, I'll just keep my problems to myself from now on.

Glad to hear all is well Glenn ;bt
That is one BEAUTIFUL C-5
Sometimes the most minor of issues can cause major problems.
Glad it was just a glitch!
Yo,El.Sounds like you owe Glenn more than a simple apology.
Yo,Glenn, please don't let this on-line experience stop you from posting problems in the future.Good nature kidding aside,we all learn from these mishaps.
Also,Glenn,at the next meeting,I'll show you how to check the codes & what they mean.

Glenn next time your Vette has a problem I hope you post it. I was checking on your car's condition every day. Sort of like a mini mystery. Glad things turned out OK.

Glad your car is back and safe. I'll stay out of the $50. thing
It's good that a throttle position sensor fails "safe". In a "drive by wire" car, I'd rather see it go brain dead like it did than provide a false sensor reading about the position of the throttle.
Sounds like a nice warranty covered repair. All I can suggest is to buy the extended warranty if you haven't already done so. I wasn't allowed to extend mine again and now I'm out there without protection.

Glad you're up and running Glenn.
I think Ellis owes us one for his Red Top comment. ;cs ;dg
OK Carl...
I give you all one....
You & I are probably THE only ones here using the CORRECT battery in our cars...;yn
If you don't have a "daily driver", the RED top battery is NOT the one you should have...
Red top for daily drivers & multiple starting applications.
YELLOW top for weekend or stored/ limited used cars, or where deep cycle applications (heavy electronics, stereo systems, etc, are used).
I find it laughable at how many guys have the Red top in their cars when they only drive them on weekends or in nice dry weather.
And these guys wonder why they have electrical problems..
Oh well... To each his own... ;)
Ok,,, that does it Bob...
Your new heating & air conditioning installation price just doubled!
I believe the Red Top also has a better warranty than the Yellow Top, unless they changed that
My YELLOW top has a 120 month full replacement warranty direct from Optima....;yn
