If you used to be able to access the gascap and now can't, it's because I was told you weren't a member. If this is an error, let me know and I'll pass the info on.

If you have emailed me asking to have your account upgraded, I have your mail. you don't have to keep emailing. I read the mail a couple times a month. I used to just upgrade people when they emailed, but now I actually check. your mail gets forwarded to the appropriate person. when they read it and verify that you are a club member, they mail me back. when the next gascap goes out, I update all accounts that have been verified.
if the site doesn't know you are a club member when the gascap goes out, you simply need to send the 1 email using the form (http://www.ccdv.com/forum/member.php?s=&action=mailform&userid=1&fill=gascap) and then wait. If I need more info from you I'll email you back.
a couple people emailed me 2 - 4 times in the past 3 weeks and then emailed other people trying to get their account updated. I wanted you to know that you aren't being ignored and there isn't anything more you have to do. It always takes a month. If the next GasCap comes out and you still haven't been updated, then something went wrong and you should mail again.
I mailed allan this morning with everyone who has mailed this month asking to be upgraded.

I'm still receiving emails from members who can't access the Staff Only Memberlist. you aren't supposed to be able to access it. it's for the Staff Only until I'm told otherwise.

Remember, when requesting to be upgraded to Club Member status, make sure you've updated your profile (http://www.ccdv.com/forum/member.php?s=&action=editprofile) and included your full real name. I can't verify that you are in the club if I don't have your name

Every month I'll get an email from a verified club member asking to have their account upgraded. If you already get into the GasCap forum, your account is fine and you don't need to fill out the form. When you make a post in the forum you can look at your title. It normally says "Jr Member" or "Sr Member". If it says anything else, you are a know club member. This includes but is not limited to "CCDV Club Member" "Moderator" and "Board Member"
If you aren't sure of your status, make sure you are logged in and go to the homepage. If you aren't logged in to the site, you'll see a simple homepage like this (http://www.ccdv.com/forum/homeindex.php?s=&view=simple) that is missing the entire left hand column where the calendar usually is and a message asking you to register. To login, go here and enter your username and password. (http://www.ccdv.com/forum/member.php?s=&action=loginform) Once you are logged in, visit the homepage. You'll see a message welcoming you back to the site. In that message will be information as to whether or not the site knows that you are a club member. If the site knows, then there isn't anything more to do.
If you are having trouble logging in, read the error message and try following those directions. the most common problem, is people enter the name and password incorrectly. Either myself or one of the moderators can help you figure out what is happening, but please try following the message directions first, let us know which error message you received, which directions you tried to follow, and what happened.
