We all means EVERY Corvette Challenge guy who attended the session went out in round 1 of their chosen event.

Edgar & Panuzzo, OUT in Pro Dial Dash,
me, Jim Kovitch, Frank Schear (Mojo), Artie Sabatino, John, Frank Fiori, Don Peppler, ALL OF US OUT 1st round...

I don't think I've lost a first round event in 2 yrs!!!

Anyway, we all got em, so here's my sob story:

1st round dial 12.17... Opponent 12.40

Of course my opponent cuts a brilliant .007 light to my usual now, .100 light, so I have to run it out, and end up losing, while running a 12.169 on the 12.17 dial.. ugggg

Wasn't going to win anyway with his light.

All in all a pretty poor day for me & all the other guys...
The only good thing is it started to rain after the 1st round, so I believe the day was done for everyone else too....
hehehe...

Oh yea, thanks Mike Campbell for the use of the tires!
Don't think they helped, but at least I was able to give em a shot.

Sorry the tires didn't help El. However, sounds like the whole bunch had a bad day. By the way, even if you cut a better light wouldn't you have broken out anyhow? ;tt

No Mike... If I had a better light I wouldn't have had to play catch up & run it out, I would have caught him & got off it.

My light was so poor, he took the stripe maintaining a bumper ahead of me the entire way.

Like I said, its not so much the dial in as everyone knows their car, its the tree.

The race is won or lost before your car even moves 5 feet.
