1998 Indy 500 Pace Car is going to go on the block Saturday.
NOT a replica, but one of the 3 cars prepared for the Indy 500 and used during the race.
Wonder what that will go for?

Bill, it must have been a blast driving that car. I would have had a hard time surrendering the keys!

Good morning Steve, yes it's been fun to drive or sit in the special cars of Corvette's past history. I don't remember if it was last year or the year before Rick Ball and another member even did a minor repair to a special car so we could start it to load it into a trailer We're still waiting to see what GM will offer us this year. Time to get ready to watch the 12 Hr. of Sebring on the Speed Channel. 11 AM to pm today. Here's a pic of Bob Weiss in the Tiger Shark, and to this day he still smiles when he speaks about driving it. http://www.ccdv.com/media/2002Cavalcade/thumbnails/DCP_0938.JPG
