Club challenge points update ... you are in for a surpise

Well, Al Conners club has more than doubled its size folks. They now have nine dirvers.

I am still reviewing the club points but it looks like we got us a club challenge race this year.

Edgar, it's not just missing points. The page is not correctly totaling the points that it has either.

However if you are saying it is not totaling correctly cause you are looking at the Club points don't forget to take into account the Club Challenge points change for 2004.

CCDV total is 23.

11 drivers signed up before first round
08 attended first race
04 bonus for Ellis finishing with the high individual total
23 TOTAL for CCDV

Sorry, my mistake. I just quickly added up the club totals and forgot that only the top driver gets points added.

BTW, why did they have a ladder for the third round with so many drivers, is that something new this year?

I have not been told that there was ladder in round three so I am not sure. I know we had greater than 64 cars so the ladder should have come in the fourth round when there was 16 or less cars. I will look into why there was a ladder in round three.

I like the 3rd round ladder.. Makes it very fair.

First 2 rounds were completely arbtrairy.

After that, let the match ups begin.

It will always be fair that way. No more lane jumping, no more people hanging out in the pits by a trailor looking at other cars in line & determining when to line up etc....

If this is instituted from here on out, I say "BRAVO"...

Bob, I am aware that there is an issue with your points and will get that clarifid and when i do, then yes CCDV will get credit for one more driver as you are now shown as not being there at all.
PS: 2nd place club, CCA1, has two drivers missing points so don't feel bad.

I hope to have it clarified as by the time i get back home. :)


Ellis the 32 car laddering thing is something that i was not made aware of but apparently, we will will be going to a ladder as soon as we have 32 cars or less. This was 3rd round last race but will be 2nd round when we dip under 64 cars later in the year.

Totally minimizes my recognition of ladder drivers and forces me to do some data and web page design changes which totally sucks but in the end I'll work it out :) By the way, don't be surprised to see us go back to 16 car ladder when the track realizes how much of a pain in the ass it is to pair 32 cars in the lanes when we dip to 64 cars.

Bob both sites, E-town and Corvette Challenge have now been fixed to show you with a total of 3 points. 1 for sign up and 2 for Event 1.

So the CCDV total goes up 1 too.
