Hello ;hw

Here is my story, I am graduating college (LaSalle University) this comming spring, and well I will finnaly have a few extra bucks to toss around. So I am perspectively looking for a car in the price range of 20-25K. Most of the type of cars I was looking at were used sporty cars. My girl asked me about a corvette and I was highly skeptical about being able to purchase a used let alone a new C5. But one day last week I figured "what the heck" and checked out Autotrader and low and behold. I could buy a C5 for 20-25K.

My ideal find would be a Torch Red, C5 Coupe, 6spd, preferably with a transparent roof pannel.

But before I can go and buy a car, I would like to be familiar with the C5. If any one would be as so kind to let me take a ride, and willing to educate me that would be more than great!

Thanks for your help.

Eric,

There's plenty of CCDV members in the area that would welcome the opportunity to help you get behind the wheel of your first Vette. Many, like Wheelz, are well versed in C5s and can help make your fiirst purchase a good one.

Good luck to you! This will be an exciting time. Enjoy it!

Be sure to keep us posted on how you're doing, and feel free to post any and all questions you may have.

Thanks for making me feel at home.

I must say its nice to see a car community that is friendly, unlike some others I have experianced. I will keep you all updated on my search. I can't do much right now except read the forums and wait till I graduate and have a steady income.
