On Sunday April 4th we will take our somewhat annual run to Kauffman's BBQ Chicken Ranch ( 1/2 chicken, potato, salad, bread, about $7.) . We will leave from the Souderton Giant Market parking lot (behind Wendy's) on RT 113, just off the Souderton exit of Rt 309. As most of you know, this is the same place we start the Hot Dog Run. We will leave at 1 P.M. After we eat at Kauffman's, we will travel back (10 miles?) and stop at Cabela's. They claim to be the World's Formost Outfitter. This is an amazing place. ( www.cabelas.com ) You have the option to stop for as long as you wish or just continue on your way. You do not have to bring your Corvette. I myself might have 3 people. I also know that it is often hard to find a parking space at Cabela's, so keep that in mind. Any questions, place a post or call me in the evening. My number is in the Gas Cap. Anybody who's been to either place please post your thoughts.

Hey, it canned me too! ;tt We hope to attend too, but, it's still a couple of weeks away. Hope the snow's gone by then. ;yn However, usually Dennis serves up great weather and the chicken is great!....;yn

If you want an interesting dining experience, you should just plan on eating at Cabela's - they have a restaurant there with quite a menu!

Sorry to say that I will not be able to participate this year. My grandaughter is having her 2nd birthday party on Sunday, April 4th in Potomac, Md.
And yes, I will be at e-town on Sat., but will be leaving immediately after I get blown out of the brackets.

Dennis:
We're thinking about it but not definite. You say it's near Hamburg, PA, thanks, but what's that near? I haven't a clue! Can you name a town or city that might sound more familiar?
Thanks,
Joel & Sue

THE RUN TO KAUFFMAN'S AND CABELA'S IS RAIN OR SHINE. LIKE I SAID YOU DON'T NEED YOUR CORVETTE TO COME ALONG.
