1985 Vette dash

I'm having a problem with the dash instrumentation on my 85 Vette. It started with the left side ocassionally going out. Most times it would come back on. Then both sides would go out and come back on. Now, both sides are out and won't come back on. I've checked the fuse and it's fine. Any suggestions?

I know from my C4 days that the dash lights have a problem staying lit. My '89 had the same issue. I believe it was Corvette Fever Magazine that had an article years ago on the removal and repair of the C4 dash. As I recall, the soldered connections become old and built up a resistance or just separated. I felt that was more than I cared to do. There are repaired dashes available and had I held on to my C4, I probably would have had a refurbished dash put in.
