My son is in the process of purchasing a 70 Chevelle SS 396 that will only be driven a maximum of 2000 miles per year (fair weather summer weekends only). Can someone tell me who he can contact to obtain classic car insurance with a value of about $30,000.

I will start with JC Taylor who is currently listed in the Gas Cap.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

I've also been with American Collector's (in Cherry Hill, NJ) for well over ten years! They have always been nice to deal with & their rates are competitive with other collector car insurance companies. I've never heard anything negative about them & I highly recommend them.

I've used JC Taylor for 8 years for our 1938 Diamond T. I've found their rates to be very competitive, and they provide good service.

Rich,

I know your post was a while ago, but if you are still looking for insurance I use State Farm. All of our cars are on one policy but I have a 1968 427 Corvette with classic plates that I pay only about $300 a year for. I am allowed up to 4000 miles/year. I use Steve Leist in Langhorne.
