I was worried about you a little bit. Haven't seen you around on the forum. Hope all is well. I had my share of medical tests and hospitals this past month. It's the age I guess. All turned out well, except for high blood pressure. On the meds now.

Waiting for you to come over for dinner. I'm on a low carb diet, but I found low carb pasta. That's what I eat now. :)

Between work and keeping Bill Burkholder in line it is a lot of hard work :D Things are ok with my health. I had to stop lifting do to a pulled muscle in my back. I got to the doctor monday to se if that is all it is. I know he will want a full blood work up I guess i will see how I am really doing after that.

Oh my, "low carb pasta". I certainly don't want Nancy to hear that. She'll probably say it tastes funny anyway. What I've tried, and if you have good gravy( Italians don't call it sauce) and cheese is spaghetti squash. Plus hardly any calories. It's not bad...;yn

Almost every supermarket has it. Don't know about Genuardis but Shop Rite has it. With gravy & good grated cheese, it's good.
Good luck!

Funny, in Brooklyn and NY, we always said "gravy" not sauce. In Philly they say "gravy" too. Up here in Allentown, they say sauce. When I went to a car show up in Clarks Summit at International Salt Co, the vendors were selling "hot dogs". Coming from NY, we always called them "franks". When I asked the vendor for a frank, he looked at me with glazed eyes. "You want a what?"...........I asked for a "hero" and they say "hoagie" I went to the supermarket for "cold cuts" and they called it "lunch meat". Oh well......that squash spagetti sounds good, and that low carb pasta is supposedly keeping me alive, but it's really killing me. ugh!.

I'm still going to have my real pasta once a week. I don't care. Like my grandfather said, "there are three things to live for in this world"....a beautiful woman, good food and Italian bread dipped in wine".

Well, hopefully the weather will break soon, and I'll get to see some of you and drive the Z.
