Subject: Willow Grove Tri-Centennial Parade
*** JOIN THE PARADE ***
All CCDV members have been invited to participate in the Willow Grove “TRI-CENTENNIAL” Loyalty Day Parade! The celebration is scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2011.
The parade will commence at 2PM sharp from the Regency Square parking lot at Easton & Fitzwatertown Roads and will continue down Easton Road to the Willow Grove Park Mall. Please arrange to meet at Regency Square at 12:30 PM so we can all gather and travel together.
After the parade, Roger at the Willow Grove VFW on Moreland Road will be hosting an open house with music & hot dogs until 5:00 PM (or feel free to head home).
We initially signed up to provide 20 CCDV Corvettes but it would be great to bring 50+. The more, the merrier! TV channel 6 is scheduled to cover the event and it’s still unofficial, but VP Joe Biden is scheduled to be the parade grand marshal.
If you are interested in participating, please call to let us know your name, phone number plus the year and color of your Corvette.
