Was surfing the web and looking at what GM offeres in Australia. Some cool cars for sure. Before Pontiac bit the dust the G8 sedan was one of the Australian built models and a great car overall. Unfortunately it was too little too late.

I agree, the G8 was a very nice car, but you're right, too little, too late.

Looks like a Modern El Camino.
That's exactly what it is. Would make a perfect addition to the Chevy line.
What's intersting is that GM will be bringing in a V8 powered Australian sedan into the states under the Chevy banner as the Caprice but so far it's only slated for police use.

GM's Vauxhall brand also offers some cool vehicles in the Uk. We see them from time to time on "Top Gear."

GM started to bring some Vauxhall models here under the Saturn label before they killed he brand. Oddly enough GM exported the Pontiac Solstice/Saturn Sky roadsters to the Uk as an Opel model. That was one model I which GM had saved.
