Windshield Scratch

I have a small scratch,,not a nick, on my windshield about 3/4" long. Its more of an annoyance than anything however its right in my line of sight. I was wondering if anyone knows of a product or something I could do to remove it. I can live with it as it is but if somethings available I'd like to try it. Thanks.

BMW recommends using the household cleaner BON AMI to remove pitting from their windshields. BMW windshields pit quickly because they are much softer than USA cars for safety reasons so I'm not sure it would work on your Vette.
Make a paste mixture of BON AMI & water in a cup put it on the windshield and rub in a circular with a clean damp soft cloth. It creates a pumice paste. I've done this many times and it's worked fine but be advised I've ONLY used it on my BMW windshield never on anything else.
If you do this I would test it first in a small area.

Thanks Don,,I might just try it and will report back if I do. As suggested I will try on an out of the way area first.

If that doesn't work. Call an Auto Glass company. They may be able to recomend a product for buffing it out.
