The weather was a little on the chilly side but the DA was pretty low all day.

Ellis, Bob Bern,Tad Archambault, Judi and Woody Brodesser were all racing at E-town today.

Judi and Woody (yes Judi was racing also!) almost got their car into the 12's!!!!!!! they put down a couple of 13.0XX runs! I'll let them tell you who was faster. Woody raced in the Corvette Challenge and Judi entered the Trophy Marathon. Woody found out how competitive the Challenge is and Judi won 2 out of 4 races her first time out!

Ellis qualified #1 in the 11.50 race, and then proceeded to mow down the competition and WIN the event!!!!!!!!!!

I managed to get to the 1/4 finals in the Challenge! A nice start to the season!

As I was helping Judi, I didn't get to see how everyone else fared.

First points race is NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope to see alot of you guys out there!

Nice job Doug..
Glad to see Bob & the others running strong!

I was able to WIN the 11.50 Index race today!
Gotta give some props to Cartek Performance, FTI Converters, RPM Transmissions and of course Steve Spencer at Bryner Chevrolet, awesome vendors who's products & technical skill keep my car running great!!!

Was #1 Qualifier with an 11.51 & a .001 R/T..
Also ripped a .003, .010, .013, & a .015..
Not too bad foot brakin it on the Pro Tree!!!!

See you all next week!

Once again I would like to thank Doug for helping me in the trophy marathon. When Woody had raced in November I was leaning things so when I did my 1st race on Saturday in my mind I knew what I wanted to try to do but was not sure if I could do it.
Doug introduced me to Maryellen a lady racer. She gave me a couple of tips & seemed to help me. When I won my 1st race I went & told her she was very excited & said we need more ladys out here.
Woody enjoyed the corvette challange but he said he needs more experience. It was alot both of us doing 2 differents events in the same car we were EXHAUSTED by the end. When I do the trophy marathon next time Maryellen said take you street car which we have a fusion I said maybe.
Doug was such a BIG help to both of us & we really apprecited it which I am sure he knows. There is SO MUCH to racing it is alot of fun & is very exciting. You learn thing each time you come out & you learn from your mistakes.

Congrats to everyone. How did Tad do this time out?

I didn't catch up with him before he left, so I don't know.
