View Full Version : Good News,Bad News
The good news is that Neverlift is putting a 5 point bar in my car.The bad news is that they can't do it till the middle of June.
For now,I'm giving advance notice that when I don't
run in the 11's,I'm not trying.

I hate to be cynical Richy , but, how can you really know what you'll run until you do??;tt;tt Unless you have one of those in the car gizmos that lets you know how fast you're going ;yn while you're also watching your tach & shift light and trying not to miss a shift, ;ow;ow....how can you know??? ;tt;tt
Of course you're right,Mike;but I can daydream,can't I?
It may turn out, like Rosenberg said,"I added a blower to get into
the 13's".
Richy will boost adjustment help keep you in the 12's or will you have to result to other trickery like bags of rocks;)
If next Saturday's high is only going to be 40-43 degrees, half the cars will be under 12.0 !!!
We might need the COOL-AID CO van to carry all the weights we'll all need!!!
No boost adjustment,Edgar.Thinking about a 1 X 2 block under the gas pedal.

Another way to add weight is 1 dozen donuts and a big gulps till your in the 12's. Although for Richy it may take a while..... :D :D

or you could hook up & tow a trailer with our '76 on it. That might even get me into the 13's?????

Holy cow!! By the way you had talked about that track I expected to see all mud & gravel roads with "stay home Yankees" signs ;yn
Looks pretty nice to me. Even though all they sell are those little tiny bottles of Jack. :D:D
I know I spent alot of time down there in Uncle Sam's Army, many moons ago...
Mike..
The track was FINE from the starting line up to just after the 1/8 mile........ After that uphill & gravel city.. No run out at all..
Like 5 car lenghts...!
Water box straight up like Lee Soffer's driveway,
burnout area, about 1.5 car lengths...
Starting line was about 1.6 car lengths from the water box....
Oh yea,,,, the track was fine, at the starting line.....
