I didn't see the lead off post by Doug, so I'll start!

Good barometer, over 30.00", DA around 1000, good air...

I know Mike Campbell went 3 or 4 rounds and was running really good, didn't see how Big John or Doug ran, so we'll wait for their posts..

I went to the Finals, and lost again, this time getting roasted by Ralph's .004, to my safe .040 as I left 1st.. Oh well..

Last time I nailed him with a .001, so he got his payback!

I also won 1 round in the 11.50, and then went -.008 red in the 2nd...
Gotta make up some ground in that series, as my car is dialed in for sure, qualified #1 on Fri night with an 11.500..

Need more of a turnout.. If you're reading this and want to "try" drag racing, its safe, fun, competitive no matter if you're stock or highly modified, and a real good time...! Join us, ask questions, everyone is very friendly & helpful to get you going!!!

Ellis...you are the points leader right now. My congrats. ;bt Plus, you are dialed in almost perfectly. I went 3 rounds. The third round when I was matched with you, I changed my dial to a 12.5...and then thought I better slow it a little because we had just hot lapped in the Trophy Marathon..so I changed it to a 12.52. You had dialed in a 11.45 and ran a 11.494. We had a good race, but, I broke out with a 12.503... Kick marks..ha.;rm I thought you'd get the whole shimigee the way you were dialed in all day. But, Ralphie is one tough hombre.

Doug came up after me, but, I don't what happened. I think Big John was out, but, both guys were still in the trophy marathon.

I also made it to the third round. The previous round was a trophy marathon run. My car ran it's fastest time of the day. The car was pretty cool before the run. When the third round was called for the CC my car was only 5* warmer. So I dialed up two one hundreds thinking that the car would run just a tick slower and the air was starting to get better. I'm up against a 12 sec car so I'm off with a 2.2 sec head start. I treed my opponent by .04. As the red ZO6 flashes by me in a blur I thought I crossed the line first, but his win light comes on. My first thought was D#&&it I BROKE OUT AGAIN! Pick up the slip and see that I lose by .0023!!!!!!! I didn't cross the line first. I ran .08 SLOWER THAN MY DIAL! http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:forums.corvetteforum.com/get/images/smilies/banghead.gif This car is still driving me nutz. Five degrees warmer and almost a tenth slower??????

I won three out of four in the trophy marathon. Lost the forth race by.003 red. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:forums.corvetteforum.com/get/images/smilies/ack2.gif

Big John Got a PB of 12.437 on his second run. Then he later backed that up with a 12.49 in a trophy marathon race that he lost by breaking out. He didn't mind losing that race , he was happy to see 12.4 again.

Next race isn't until June 5. :(
