Once a month, the museum brings several of its prized items to the large lot in the back &
Fred Simeone drives the cars around.Of course, they are just cruising, but the sounds are fantastic.
On Feb 27,the demo is called "one Man's Vision" & features 2 of the rarest "american iron"
race cars. They are the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport # 2 (recently acquired for ~ 4 million)
& the 1964 Cobra Daytona Coupe ( another 4 million $ gem ).
This is a once in the lifetime opportunity to see & hear these cars in motion.

The details can be found right ==> HERE (http://www.simeonefoundation.org/?page_id=54)

If you've never been to this museum, it is well worth the trip.

Near the Airport on Norwitch Drive (near 70th and Essington and off 95 at Bartram Ave.)

It's a wonderful museum to see..

I did the tour with Brian when organized by CCDV's John Benischeck and it was great!! Look forward to going back again but hopefully the weather will be OK by 2/27. Just Seeing & Hearing those 2 fantastic vintage automobiles would make the trip worthwhile.

we'll be at the shore for the AC Car show & auction. Otherwise, I'd be going!! It's easy to get to if you need directions!
