Hi Gang,
Getting close to getting out of here!!! My Vette and I should be reunited in less than 40 days. Looking for a good exhausts shop to install Kook headers. After all I have read on headers and Vets, I like these the best...even over LG Motorsports. Still torn over exhausts. I've heard tons of sound clips! I still lean toward GHL's. I would also like to hear Bassanni's. I like the Ferrari sound. To me that is the standard. I went to the Ferrari factory last year while in Italy. It's a sound I'll never forget. Perfect. Still up in the air over the rear so I'll leave it for the Summer. Who does the best work in the Phila area? My mods will be bolt on only. I want LS-1 edit as well. I can't wait to cruise with the club!!

Well Ken, come home safe.;ps As far as LSI edit, the best local guy is Bryan Herter. You can check out his web page at PCMforless.com.
His phone number is 610-685-8871. He is really busy and it may pay to make an appointment ASAP. ;yn As for bolt on mods, I'd recommend the Vette Shop, in Warminster. Sean & his crew did almost all mine and they did a dandy job on everything. Their phone is 215-322-9590. ;bt
You should be home in time for spring...:D and we all are waiting!! It's been a long winter.;yn

Hi Ken, getting short!!! Can't wait to meet you and your Mom. Before you purchase your exhaust listen to some in person. I know that Ellis "YO EL" has GLH, I have B&B PRT's, Other members have Corsa, so listen , ride with, then purchase. Hope to see you home soon.... Bill

Ken, I maybe selling my GHL's, the wife is complaining they hurt her ears. I bought Richie Dunbar's factory pipes which I'll most likely install in the spring.
GHL's installed in early November, put on about 30 miles before putting the car away for the winter. If your interested let me know.

Bud,
Which model of GHL's do you have? Is x-pipe installed? I hear that GHL's have no resonance, is that accurate?
Yes, I'm interested. If "Household 6" (wife) complains, I'll issue her a great set of Army earplugs!!

Ken, they are the GHL C5/Z06 Exhaust with Quad 3.5" Round Rolled Tips. No X pipe with these. There is no resonance with these, just that great sound I remember from the 60's. :D Since my wife pasted 50 she's no fun anymore!! ;bm Below is a link to the GHL site for the exhaust.

PS: I see that you are in the Army deployed in the Middle East. Thanks for the great job you guys/gals are doing. What unit are you with? I was with the 101 airborne in Nam 67-68. All the best!!

Bud,
From what I've heard the GHL's are for me. If you can save em' I'll take em'. We are currently assigned to the 82nd ABN DIV in AR-Ramadi, Iraq. The Division commander was ambushed yesterday. He's ok. I can't wait to get the hell out of here!! Are they much louder that stock? I have a C5 coupe. "Household 6" normally tolerates the sound of my cars. My mother loves the sound (she's 70 something) of a great exhausts. Go figure. I should be back in early April. I plan to bolt them right up to a set of Kooks with x-pipe and hi-flow cats. BTW the 101st is in the process of redeployment. They are also glad to get the hell out of here!!

Ken, no problem they will be here. There is no rush, the car is the garage on jack stands, wheels off, I do that in case I get the urge to take the car out during the winter. It won't be out before April anyway. They are louder than stock and have a great
“healthy growl” to them. I have a convertible, so everything sounds louder.
I spent 8 months at Bragg with the 118th ABN MP Co before being reassigned to the 101st. They were hurting for replacements so they turned us into grunts and shipped us out. I had some great times at Bragg. During the war games between the 82nd and Special Forces our company run the POW camp for the 82nd. Stay safe and see you in April.
All The Way! ;ps
