Here are a bunch of great pictures taken at yesterday's game. Click ==> HERE (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/photos?photoId=363422&gameId=300103006)

You mean this number right? I would say the birds have the advantage, being is that beating a division team 3 times in the same year is almost impossible.

PHI (11-5) 0 0 0 0 0
DAL (11-5) 7 10 7 0 24

Since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, there have been 19 times when a team went into a playoff game with a chance to complete a 3 game season sweep. Those teams are 12-7. The good news (for us Iggles fans) is that Dallas had two chances to do so (in 1998 against the Arizona Cardinals and 2007 against the Giants) and lost both times.

I do remember, not so long ago, when the Eagles swept the Giants & then beat them again in the playoffs. As for any hope for the Eagles....the way they played they couldn't beat the "Little Sisters of the Poor". Another year, another poor time management, another choke up some chunky soup! Hey, what else is new ??? As far as the Cowboys go...looks like another ring for the rich guy.

Actually, according to Stats, Inc., in 2000 it was the Giants who beat the Eagles 3 times.

That sounds right for the Andy Reid era.

Glenn, I guess the only Eagles highlight photos are of Andy stuffing in another cheeseburger between plays.

I fear being in the playoffs is a temporary thing for the Eagles but you never know, maybe this is the year they COULD GO ALL THE WAY. Anyone want to put odds on that happening?

2010 Superbowl XLIV Betting Odds
The odds to win Super Bowl XLIV have just been released at a few sportsbooks. Check below to find the future bet lines on every NFL team. The 2010 Super Bowl will be held in Tampa, Florida and will be played on February 6th 2010.

Betting on the big game early in the year does have benefits. The 2009 NFL Champion Pittsburgh Steelers opened a bankroll padding 20-1 while the previous year's Super Bowl winner NY Giants opened the season at very generous 22-1 odds at most offshore betting shops.

This year the linesmakers have once again made the New England Patriots the favorite to win the big game. The Patriots opened up at +375, so just under 4-1 wagering odds followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers at +575 and the Philadelphia Eagles at +750.

The bookmaker won't be seeing our money bet on the Patriots as we will be looking elsewhere. We're going to put down wagers on the Eagles and the Saints from the NFC and the Chargers and Jaguars from the AFC. If you're looking for a dark horse future bet, I'd look at Seattle Seahawks at +5100 opening odds to win the SuperBowl.

Best place to bet these is : Bodog!

Are there two Super Bowls this year?

You mention the first one on Feb 6 in Tampa and the Second on Feb 7 in Miami.

What are the odds of any given team above winning both of them?

Yes Glenn, we are hard on our home team. Why?? Because they have broken and crushed us for year after year...?!.;cs However, that being said, I for one will always be (when considering the NFL) an Eagles fan first, and a Steelers' fan second. Why??? Because I live in Pennsylvania...not Texas, New York, California or Bolivia. ;yn And when I root for a college, it's Penn State first (because 2 of my kids & I went there) and Temple second (because I and one of my kids went there) & Pitt last (because my youngest daughter went there)...period. Plus; here's a clue... I live here in PA.

Vettechick.................... I remember a couple years ago watching the Cowboys/Seahawks wildcard game with you when the Boys had a 19 yard Field Goal attempt on 4th down with about 80 seconds left to win the game..... Just before the snap I said "Geez, even YOU could kick this one..............." Then I was sent into one of the biggest dissapointments ever......when Romo bobbled the hold and got crushed at the 2 yard line, 1 yard short of a first down...

My biggest BAD Cowboy memory though was in 95 when Barry Switzer called on Emmit Smith on a 4th and 1 in a tie game around the Boys 30 yard line, the Eagles stopped him at the line. The refs said the clock wound down to the 2:00 warning BEFORE the snap and gave the Cowboys another chance to replay that 4th down. Barry Switzer runs the same dam play and the Eagles stopped him again......

Eagles went on to win that one.... THAT one HURT big. It was funny though, I was watching the game with a whole bunch of buddies who were all Eagles fans. They gang tackled me in the guys living room like I was Emmit Smith.....

So those are my 2 biggest BAD Cowboys memories..... There were others too but also plenty of fun Cowboys moments, especially at Veterans Stadium. I always had fun down there at Eagles/Cowboys games......

I don't go anymore, the Igles fans are just too crazy these days....

I like this Spadaro dude, the Eagles website editor. He films himself spitting on the star at the 50 yard line at Cowboys Stadium while saying "ok no ones' looking, I'm spitting right on the star" THEN posts it on the Eagles website. Yea pal, no one's looking................ What a jackass..... A typical Eagles fan

Something that amuses me, Eagles fans just absolutely hate Dallas with a passion, it's their biggest rivalry and they THINK Dallas feels the same way... They have the class to actually walk around wearing t shirts that say "DALLAS SUCKS" How classy. I've seen guys wearing those shirts, walking into the stadium while holding his little kids hand. Those kids must be so proud...
The Cowboys just take Philadelphia as another game on the schedule. The Cowboys biggest rivalry is with the Washinton Redskins.... The Cowboys don't hate the Eagles and coudn't care less about what they have to say about the Cowboys. If the Birds staff wants to spit on the Cowboys Star on the field, then so be it, they just let them show what idiots they really are.... I doubt that clown Spadaro will be given credentials this weekend though. He probably ruined things for quite a few of the Eagles staff....

And the cheap hits the Eagles used to put on Troy Aikman when that JO Buddy Ryan was the coach, more typical Eagles crap. As much as you guys wonder how I could be a Cowboys fan, I wonder how you guys could be Eagles fans.

It was pretty classy a few weeks back too when thousands of Eagles fans spent the entire game throwing snowballs onto the field and at each other.. It was like watching fans at a junior high school game....

Only in Philadelphia.............. :p

Gee Glenn, you do have a point about that Spadaro guy spitting on the Dallas pentastar. This was a genuine "classless & stupid" act. Just like when T.O. danced on the star and later did his Eagle flap after Dallas bought him a couple of years later. All that bozo did was piss off Dallas people. Another point is, a large majority of these classless Eagles fans are also, your beloved Phillies fans too! ;cc

But, having traveled to Dallas countless times over the last 35 years, let me assure you...Dallas fans are just as classless and stupid. And as for rivalries, Dallas hates everyone. If anything is true, Dallas has managed to achieve the title of "the team most people in the NFL want to beat". Why? Because of their "America's" team bullshit and their obnoxious arrogant owner. ;ae

I don't hate Dallas fans. If I lived there all my life I'd be one too. Nothing wrong with that. It's just I find it hard to understand how someone can root for their rivals. Must have been that Cowboy Cheerleader's poster on your wall when you were a kid! ;bl

If you had the misfortune of residing in Detroit (I'm from there so I can say that)---whose team in recent decades (although it seems like millennia) has been undistinguished as the Cowboys are distinguished---would you really fault someone who chose to support the Browns or Bears? Perhaps food for thought. :)

Enjoy tomorrow's game!!

They're not being tough, they're just being fans. It's all in the fun of the games..

I'm having fun watching Mike detonate though, he's made this thread more fun that it really should have been. Thanks partner, you've given us all some extra added joy the past couple days...

I like his comment "Well enjoy your gloating....after all, isn't that what Cowboy fans do??" Wondering where he has seen any gloating on my behalf here???? :p

I didn't start this thread and all I've done is reply to others comments. NEver once gloated about last weeks game at all.

I'm smart enough to know it's just a game and any given team can win any given game........

OR, maybe Mike isn't really sure what gloating means.....

There sure hasn't been any here........ I'm not like that..

Glennm27

Only talk about the Flyers would be good talk. They've been looking pretty good since Christmas.

Something that has always made me wonder about Eagles fans who continually say Dallas Sucks (as seen above and all over this Philadelphia area)

IF Dallas Sucks, where does that leave the Eagles on the "Suckometer" if the Eagles loses to that team (which I believe they have done 2 times this season). You really shouldn't say the team that beats you sucks, you're just saying your team sucks even more............. BUT, who the hell thinks of those things. In Philadelphia you just have to hate the opponant and say they suck I guess.

I'll be the first to admit the Cowboys at 11-5 are mediocore at best this year, and I've even pronounced at times while watching them this season "You Suck", but for Eagles fans to say Dallas Sucks after losing to them 24-0, well, I just kinda like hearing that.....

Ellis, do you have any more typical Eagles fan crap to post?

:D By the way Glenn, you know, I never gloat. Your point about fans that are morons (all fans of all teams) is absolutely true!! Philly, Dallas, NY,or whatever...none have a monopoly on stupid.. But, it is fun to see some of the dopey stuff people do. What I love the most is when people say, "We kicked their butt!" , when in fact "we" didn't do crap! And when their team loses the same morons will say, "They really stunk up the place!"... Bandwagon ankle breakers

Keep in mind my friends....it's only 6 weeks till pitchers & catchers report in Clearwater!! ;bt Hope it's warmer down there than now!! 34 deg. in Tampa..today.

Glenn - If the Eagles are your hated 'RIVALS' than why didn't you tell the Eagle cheerleaders to get away from your car and that you only allow Dallas cheerleaders to stand next to your car. :D:D

The truth is out, you do have a hidden love for the Eagles. And don't reply that cheerleaders don't count because with a 'RIVAL' everything counts. ;bl;bl

Well Ed, you like others here somewhere have read into all this that I hate the Eagles. Maybe you too should just go back and read all this and you will never find me saying I hate the Eagles. I actually did mention back there quite a few replies ago that I find it funny how much Eagles fans hate the Cowboys and I find it especially amuzing how the Eagles fans THINK that the Cowboys and their fans feel the same way about the Eagles, whereas Dallas just thinks of Philadelphia as another team on the schedule.

There's no hatred, they are just rivals, that's it.

as for me not asking the Cheerleaders to stay away from my car, you should be able to figure that out but if not, ask one of your boys.......

Funny thing about the Eagles Cheerleaders that day, I didn't even know until they told me that they were from the Eagles..... They had nothing on their uniforms saying Eagles.

Never been an Eagles fan, but I don't care if those cheerleaders are from the Eagles, Beagles or Seagulls they can walk along side or ride inside my car anytime. ;bt

Its a lot of fun down here during football season. Most everyone I run into is not from here originally so you have almost every team represented down here and it makes for really good conversation at the bar for every game being played. There is an unusually high concentration of Steeler fans down here even from people that are from here. The good old bandwagon fans.

Charlotte, Jacksonville and Atlanta are all equal distant from me so it will take awhile to find my second team to root for. Penn State football, Villanova basketball, Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers will always be my number one.

Tom, if you go on line you can look up the local Nittany Lion Club. They're everywhere. ;bt Only ND has a larger alumni club and they usually have a great sports bar that'll show all the PSU games. ;yn

Eagles totally unprepared (as usual)..
Dump the coach/GM..

QB McNabb was sulking after the 1st set of downs.

Like, is there ANY fire to this guy at ALL?

Thats what you get for giving him a 100 million dollar GUARANTEED salary.

The most emotion he's ever shown was the grimace on his face when he blew out his ACL a few yrs back..

No wonder he complained about Jeff Garcia..
Keeping Garcia on the team, with his fire & emotion, his leadership, would have exposed McNabb for the passive sulker he really is..

Dump McNabb & his pouting & get someone in here who is gonna get mad when something doesn't go his way, & then get fired up & DO something about it!

You cannot compare 1 single QB now or EVER who has a more passive, complacent, lackadasical, non competitive persona than McNabb.

I already found the Penn State hang out. There is a bar and pizza place near by called Mellow Mushrooms. I found it just by driving by and they had a big blow up McNabb and Penn State flag outside. I had to investigate. The owner is from Philly and is a fellow alumni. He moved down here only 18 months ago. I also found a place called Philly Cheese steak. That owner has been here two years and was from Philly.

The Eagles way.

Jeff Garcia was able get the entire offense excited and really wanting to play for the guy and really wanting to win. And win they did. So, what do you do with a guy like that in Philadelphia? You cut him loose......

Brian Dawkins WAS your best defensive player, got everyone pumped and ready to kill every play. What do you do with a guy like that in Philadelphia, you cut him loose....

amazing....................

McNabb, can throw the ball at anyone's feet game in and game out, can't pull off the big plays when needed, can't get his team pumped up and wanting to play for him... What do you do with a guy like that in Philadelphia, you keep giving him more money and more years on his contract...

By the way, you guys are in the wrong thread with all this crying, we've moved on..
