Sorry to hear you were the victim of some jerk. I recently used McShane's in Southampton to take care of some damage on Deb's car. He matched the metallic black perfectly. I looked at the work form every angle, under direct light and even with a magnifying glass and could not tell the new from factory paint. And, he's a pleasure to deal with.

Ouch!!! Kim and I got there around 5:00 and parked next to a Vette that looked just like yours and also a black Prowler. I'm very sorry to hear that. I hate how people do stupid stuff like that. Hopefully, its not a deep scratch and only the clear coat needs touched up.

It looks deep. We left around 1:30 and noticed it when we pulled into Chevy 21 to look at their vettes. Ouch!!

Thanks everyone!! I called today and they will have their supervisor call back. We will need to fill in a police report. They do not have cameras in the lot only by the entrances. Will probably install them at a later date. Person I talked to works there and he had his car keyed just after he put a paint job on it. Not good to hear, beware.

My mind hits a short circut when I try to think....how someone could in their mind justify doing something like that to someone who didn't do nothing to them or to someone they don't know. People that do this do it because they think you've stolen their rightful income to buy a Vette, therefore, you must pay. Or, they just think it's cool to wreck anything, since they are walking a-holes that never owned anything.

My daily driver was keyed on both sides last year. You never know when some putz is going to come along and destroy what you've worked hard for. In my case I'm just glad I didn't see them do it.
