I guess I should have stated NOT thru Stub Hub or a broker who charges 15x face value...
Maybe from someone who is not looking to retire from this one sale.. if anyone knows someone who can't make it or desires to sell..

That's not Stub Hub charging those prices. Those prices are set by the seller, once the tickets sell, the buyer pays tickets + 10%..
Those prices, as big as they are are being gotten and anyone who has tickets knows that and aren't going to part with them for face value for one of two reasons. 1) They want to go to the game or 2) They KNOW they can easily go to StubHub and get H U G E dollars for them...
I hope you luck out but I think you better keep a seat reserved in front of that new 55" Samsung LED

There's a reason there's so many available on Stub Hub & other secondary markets....
They aren't selling... (at those exorbitant prices)

Hate to tell you but they ARE selling for those BIG prices. Remember, they are probably going to play the Yankees and New Yorkers are in the group of buyers..... When the Yankees beat LA today, and the Phillies vs. Yankees matchup is assured then go ahead and watch the sales. They ARE selling now, Trust me (as you always say) I know you don't want to believe it, but they are, I KNOW.

It will probably be cheaper for Yankees fans to come to Philly for the series than pay the price for tickets at home.

I have season tickets (4) in section 115 next to the Phillies dugout and we are going to sell the second home game for $4000 a seat.
Last year we listed the 4 seats for $8000 and got $5500 because it was Tampa Bay.
If it's the Yankees we should get $12,000 to 16,000 for the seats.
For the life of me I can't believe people would pay that much money as well as drive down from New York.
From what I've seen on the sites, most of the seats have NOT sold.
I've been looking every day, and the same seats are still available.
Maybe they'll move as the series gets closer...

Well, the New Yorkers are going to buy them UNTIL they know for sure they are going to see the Yankees.......
Once the series contenders are locked in, watch em go.....

We are selling the 2nd game for $1100 fixed on e-bay but do have an auction as well.
I am selling my 2 seats for Monday night for $3800 each on Stub Hub but if anyone is interested I could work out a better deal.

Yo El,have you considered offering sex for tix? Looks like a promising ploy.
P.S.If cops run a sting on you,you could say "the offer was to ride shotgun on one of your
10 sec runs".

Cole Hamels Sucks (didn't know where else to post this and just wanted to get that out) :p
Cole Hamels Sucks (didn't know where else to post this and just wanted to get that out) :p
I didn't like Hamels body language from the start...
During the delay, he was relaxing crossed legged & laughing & joking in the dugout..
Man, thats BS..
Get serious, stay focused..!
I also don't like all the smiling & interaction with Rollins & Jeter & Howard etc..
Be friends OFF the field, not ON it...
I don't believe the Phillies are taking this series too seriously & wish they would..
I'd like to think they'd take more of a get in your face attitude, like "you're trying to take something away from us and we're NOT going to let you"!!!
Someone needs to inflect some ATTITUDE, some SERIOUS BALLS ASS concentration & focus on this team...
They are WAY too relaxed & appear like its all a big joke to them.
I mean, does Howard get pissed off when he strikes out?
Can Rollins reach base 1 time without patting or laughing with Jeter?
Wake the "F" up, get serious about this & PERFORM the way you can!
I just don't think the Phillies are "into" this at all... and that is very disappointing.. Even game 1 Charlie is laughing & mucking with Jamie Moyer in the dugout. That didn't happen all year. He never laughed & joked during a game in the dugout. It was all business..
Now its the World Series, and everyone is laughing, relaxing & playing nice with the oh so respected opponent? BS!!!!!
Based on the first 3 games, this series is over unless someone on the Phillies goes in there & blows a gasket & gets these player's heads into the game the way they should be!

I'm with you on ALL of that El.
The Yankees are the enemy. ACT LIKE IT.
They let them come into our house and take a game. THAT'S not right.
And like you said, Howard, 6 straight K's and he doesn't even seem to care.
Carlos Ruiz and Jayson Werth are serious. I think they are the only ones.
The need some attitude lessons from the Fylers.

Threaten to take a few Million a year off their way to Large salaries and see what happens!
Hamel does Suck. He's too busy concentrating on his next Comcast Commercial.
And Howard, what can you say. He's either hitting it out of the park or striking out and it doesn't seem to bother him.
Bad management last night!!! EYE OF THE TIGER is what they need.

I couldn't agree with YO-EL even more. I used to practice ice hockey with the Hershey Bears and Flyers when I was younger but that was as far as my hockey career went. Even playing in bar leagues in Philly, You could be taking the face off against your best friend and I'm telling you he'll be the first one to slash you or take your skates out. When you lace up your skates, there are no friendships. But once the game is over, they will also be the first one to buy you a beer at the bar after the game while you both compare battle scars from the game. A lack of focus is an under statement. The Phillies are representing all of us and playing in the probably the biggest championship series in all of sports. I think my experience playing for free beer and hot wings were taken more serious.

I am disgusted...
Don't want to go & will include my Flyers tickets for the game with VIP Parking as well to anyone who buys these at my cost $3000.

Lee pitched pretty good, well compared to our closers, but then again most are better than our closers this year. :(
