I am writing this e-mail to see if anyone can assist me in my job search.

I was working for the Hartford Insurance company as 'Director of Information Technology' and a member of senior management. A business decision was made to have another company re-engineer the computer systems I was responsible for
and assume resonsiblity for them. I am going through an Executive Search firm in trying to find a position but it could take months to find something at my level.

With that all said, I would appreciate any help someone could give me as part of my job search. If you know someone in I.T or could forward my resume to their H.R. department, please respond.

In the meantime I am getting 'bored' at home and if anyone could use a helper of some sort, I would be glad to assist. I don't mind working outside, driving, or whatever. Payment method is at your discretion.

Ed, I personally can not help, BUT I will certainly keep my eyes and ears open and keep you in mind.

I do work and deal with many people during the course of every week. If I hear of anything, I will certainly let you know right away.

Ed...

Any install I get, I will bring you on as a helper..

Be ready to lift stuff, hold the drop light, go back & forth like a zillion times to the trucks, & freeze your butt off..

Sorry to hear about your situation - I've been there!!!!!!
Please forward your resume to me also (thru e-mail OR fax to my attention at work = 215-467-3305). I know alot of people in the banking & IT fields. I'd be glad to forward your resume to them & would recommend you highly! I also think there's a few CCDV members who work in the IT field that you should consider contacting. You guys have been so helpful, that I can ask to let me know if you hear of anything available ideally in international sales & marketing.
I'd go for multi-lingual executive assistant, admin. asst.,
or even general office work, with experience in Quickbooks Pro & Excel... p/t is fine too.
and yes, I can make coffee too. ;)

Hi Dancer,

I wish I would have seen your post yesterday instead of today.

Yesterday I placed an ad to run in next week's Main Line Times for a p/t office assistant I plan to hire. Duties include answering phones, entering repair orders into our shop computer system, some light filing and recording keeping, and if interested some inside sales work as well.

Call me next week if you think you might be interested. My day time phone is 610-642-4344.
