I will be leaving Philly on Saturday to be a participant in the Kerbeck 'Toys for Tots' run. If you would like to join me and caravan down from Philly listed below are the details.
1) I will be at the Franklin Mills Mall in N.E.Philly at 9:30 am in front of Dave & Busters (Red entrance). Every entrance is color coded. The mall is next to I95 and I will take the Walt Whitman bridge to get to the Atlantic City expressway en route to the Frank Farley Service Plaza.
2) I will leave the mall at 10:00 am with the expectation to arrive at the plaza between 11:15 to 11:30 am so that we can get into the parking lot. The Corvettes are leaving the service plaza at 12:00 pm to go to Kerbecks.
I talked to George Kerbeck at Carlisle and he said that they expect over 1000 vettes this year. Last year they had 800. He will have food and entertainment at his location for those who participate.
When we leave the Frank Farley service plaza the police will have the connectors blocked off and the Vettes can go as fast as they want. I can only imagine what this will be like with all the drivers opening up their Corvettes.
