For the CCDV Racers and Members I am sorry to announce the passing of Don Laskowski. Don's name is on the Challenge Club Trophy. My thoughts and prayers are with Don's family..... We spent a great day with Don and his wife at the Make a Wish, Fantasy Flight. Don was so proud of his wife Loretta's Mustang. I'll miss Don... (the blue car is Don's, )

Donald Laskowski , Jan. 27, 2004; age 50, of Richboro, PA, formerly of Port Richmond, husband of Loretta (nee Liger), father of Matthew and Lauren; son of Jean and the late Eugene Laskowski and borther of Constance Turner (Brent), Richard Sparks (Julie), Eugene, Emily Cappa (Ron) andTimothy (Colleen). Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Fri. from 7 to 9 P.M. at the LAMB FUNERAL HOME, 101 Byberry Rd., Huntingdon Valley. Funeral 10 A.M. Sat. at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 A.M. St. Bede the Venerable RC Church, Holland, PA. Int. Our Lady of Grace Cem., Langhorne, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Don's memory may be made to the Matthew and Lauren Laskowski Fund.

Our total sympathy & prayers for Don's family. We just were with him & his wife Loretta right before Christmas at the Willow Grove Naval Base. ;cs;cs We'll try to make the viewing. He was just a great guy & we all had fun this past summer at Englishtown. He'll be missed. ;cs

Oh my God I am so sad to hear that. I just saw his name added to the drivers list for 2004 from Raceway Park. I don't understand. Was he ill?

Hi Edgar... Just got home from the viewing, what a crowd!! Don died while on his computer at home, from what I understand he had a heart attack.

I met Don over the Turnpike bridge this past summer on route to a Challenge event. Discovered we're neighbors & were planning on going racing a few times too...

Sorry to hear, very sad....

Glad he was able to be a CCDV points racer & have his name on the Trophy.

I got to the viewing about 7:05 & there was already a crowd. I feel a little bad because the priest came in around 7:30 & I still hadn't had the opportunity to personally pay my respects. Don seemed to have a very nice family. The photo's of him with his hot blue '76 Vette were nice to see. We should dedicate the first Challenge Race in 2004 to his memory!!

This is the type of thing that makes this club is special!!!!

I saw alot of CCDV faces Friday night.
