Cops galore on way to Carlisle

Just passing along info I got from Ken P who was at Carlisle today. He said the Police were out in force on the Turnpike. Take it easy guys and gals.

Yes they were. My son's wife was driving his Corvette behind me on the turnpike and she got a speeding ticket going 83 mph Saturday morning.

It cost $163.00 and he said to the trooper in the unmarked car that he was a Philadelphia Fireman and it meant 'Nothing'.

I was lucky as I was the lead car going 85 mph and passing another car but the radar gun must have hit the car I was passing and caught my kid's car behind me. They got pulled over.

It was his first time at Carlisle and he was like a kid in a candy shop. The weekend cost him over $1000.00 buying parts, items for the car, shirts, the room and ticket.

He won't forget his first weekend at Carlisle.

Yes we did get warned but unfortunately I didn't read the post until Monday.

He bought a 1990 Convertible triple black. He will be joining the club and I will now have two sons who are members.

Ed, maybe it's best if you have a food taster at the meetings from now on. Perhaps it can be part of new member initiation. Just make sure their check clears first. ;)
