Is there a way to have the interior lights in the interior mirror go out in a shorter time period? Is the switches on position when it is pushed in or out? I know this sounds silly but I can never tell since the lights stay on so long after everything is shut down and it doesn't matter what position they are in when the ignition is off they go out after the time limit anyway. The manual doesn't tell you, however, I guess I probably could try it at night and find out after about 15 minutes or so?

Thanks

No way I know of to adjust the time and I know what you mean about the buttons - I manage to bump them all the time without realizing it. I believe always-on is when the button is *out* but I'm not 100% certain. The light is so diffuse that you can be riding around with them on and not even know it!

When you push the lock button on the fob the lights on the mirror should fade out in a couple of seconds. They stay on longer if you just walk away and let the car lock itself.

Thanks for the input. I finally found out what my problem was. I must have bumped the switch that turns on the interior lights (it also adjusts the intensity level of the dash lights) which also explains why the lights were on so long after I turned off the ignition. I also was able to find out that "out" is off once the interior lights were turned off.
Oh well, I guess it must be an age thing, hope it doesn't get worse! Thanks again.
