OK I'm no longer refering to my 92 as FrankenVette. She's proven her worth.;bl I just came back from a 2 week 4500 mile Road Trip and the 92 (formerly known as FrankenVette) ran better than new. We drove to Cape Coral Florida, then to Houston Texas, then Austin Texas then finally Charlotte NC. Most of the time spent down south was over 100 DEG. She ran cool and I averaged 23.5 MPG.
The new Mustang threat must have worked. ha-ha!

It was, I bought it from a guy in Garland, TX which is right outside of Dallas.
On a side note I stopped at Corvettes of Houston to check the place out. It seems as if the Depression/recession hasn't effected them. He said that sales are steady and up from the previous years. As a matter of fact the only part of their business that's hurting is catalog accessories sales from the Northeast and Florida.

Welcome back Don. Glad to hear that the '92 will continue to reside at the Terranova household and not some Ford dealers used car lot.

Mike you don't know the half of it;
Best tacos on the planet at Amaya's Taco Village in Austin
BBQ Brisket at Goodes BBQ in Houston
Beef BBQ & Elgin sausage at Rudy's in Austin
Pecan crusted chicken with pecan gravy at Threadgills in Austin
BBQ chiucken at the Shady Grove in South Austin
Avocado omelet at Magnolia Cafe in Austin
Porter house steak and the best Pecan Pie at the Saltgrass Restaurant in Conroe,TX
Best Pulled pork BBQ in the South at BBQ King Drive-In in Charlotte NC
Now that the vacation is over I'm back to sucking air thru a rice cake or else I'll need to have Doylestown Hospital pencil me in for another by-pass in about 2014 ;at
But it's almost worth it.
PS: Threadgills offers mugs of Lone Star Beer for $1 all day long.

Glad to hear you and the Vette are both doing well Don!
If your Doctor hears what you have been eating he will put you back in right away.
Couldn't you feel your Artries Hardening while you drove?

Hey Don - Glad to hear the trip went well, I was wondering how you were making out, guess you didn't need to take the title along after all, but you never know.
