Sure looks to me like the ZR1 could have gotten around the Lambo at will. Yeah, the zri got a bit squirrely here and there but ----- the ZR1 sure seemed to be able to get right up to the Lambo car at any moment.

It doesn't look like the optimum road surface for High Speed driving.
BOY, did he ewver Get Air! Whoa!!!
Looked like where he got squirelly, he was actually avoiding patches in the road.
The Z-R1 certainly had the Power to catch and pass the Lambo.
