A 22 to 1 victory over the Reds. All 9 starters had at least one hit. 22 runs on 21 hits. 10 runs in the first to tie a club record for most runs in the first.

Truly an unbelievable game. A first inning blowout. I thought I was watching the wrong game, kept switching channels to be sure......LOL

It looked more like batting practice. In the later innings when the Phils were trying to hold back they still kept getting hits.

Did you see where P. Janish's ERA was 45.0 when he came into the game and it was 49.5 when he left the game.

Hammels could have thrown underhand and still win the game.

Not sure if you knew, but the Reds obviously threw in the towel early and decided to spare their bullpen, who also got shelled Sunday. Paul Janish who pitched late is a shortstop.
