Hello:
I am a proud owner of a new'03 Z06. I sent in my membership form and a check on December 28th. How long does it usually take to hear back about the membership?
I am very anxious to get involved and learn much more about my new toy.
thanks,
Neil Fine

Hi Neil, I hope I'm not stepping on anyones toes here, but you were actually voted into the club tonight at the official board members meeting. Welcome aboard! You'll be getting an official welcome very soon. In the mean time, don't hesitate to ask questions and make yourself at home.

PS. The New Members Committee contact is Rose aka "TQO".

Hello;
I really appreciate the warm welcome to the club. Looking forward to meeting all of you.
Some questions.
I would like to change the exhaust on my Z06 to make it a bit more throaty. Is that a good idea? If so, any suggestions on product and where to go to have it done.
Will changing or upgrading the air intake system enhance the performance of the car.
I appreciate your help.

thanks,
Neil Fine

You may want to contact Ellis Gray (YO EL). He has the GLH exhaust and loves it. I have the B&B PRT's and they are loud. The air intake will make a big difference in performance. Most guys are now using the "Blackwing" air intake. I have the Vortex ram air and it's a bottom breather . You have to be carreful driving in heavy rain with bottom breathers. joe Signore (C-5 Pilot) and Bob Rosenberg (Torch Red Rider) have the blackwing. Ask Ellis who he would recomend to do an exhaust instalation. You can do the air intake yourself in less than an hour with just hand non power tools.... ;bt
