Long story short,,, My carb. was flooding, so I had it rebuilt. Put back on and still flooding.I had it rebuilt at Bowen's. Craig said give me car to check out. He found out that the tank has alot of crap in it. He advised new tank and fuel pump and blow out fuel lines. Now has anyone done this, and can I do this in my garage on my back. Any info would be greatly appreciated. One more thing. If I do put a fuel pump on. I was reading in the Chilton book and it says before removing fuel pump bolts, I should remove upper boltfrom engine,s right front mounting boss and temporary install a longer bolt, 3/8-16 x 2 inch. This is for no worry about fuel pump push rod realignment. After installing new pump remove bolt, and put original bolt back in. My question is what is right front mounting boss. Again any help on removal and reinst. of tank will be appreciated and also where,s best place to get a tank..... Thanks Paul
