The first one doesn't even look like it will fit. Neither of my Corvettes had 1-3/8" - 2" clearance. Remember it has to get between the lug nut and the hole. If a socket barely clears, it looks like that would get ripped up before you got 4 wheels done, but that's just a guess.

The second one is for cleaning exposed lug nuts, like on a truck, not the lug nut holes on a car.

I've seen similar products over the years. None hold up to regular use. Pull the center caps off and you can clean around the lug nuts with a wash cloth or small brush.

C5,, I believe the 1 3/8"-2" clearance is referring to the depth,,I just checked my C6,,I have about 1 1/2" depth and my lug nuts are 3/4" wide. I agree that the 2nd one doesn't look like it would suit my purposes.

But with all that spare time you can use a washcloth and a detailing brush.

So while the wife is at work or out shopping, take a wheel off and stick it in the dishwasher. Before the week is out, you'll have nice sparkling wheels. Don't forget the Jet-dry! ;)

But seriously, when I detailed cars we used to take either a Q-tip or something like a popsicle stick wrapped with a rag to get into tight spaces. The place it makes the biggest impact is the dashboard air vents... clean all the dust out of those, clean the windows real good and you'll think you're in a different car.

I have something similar, only its an actual brush and does a half decent job of cleaning the lug nuts but not the surrounding area so much. It was just some $5 thing I picked up at Pep Boys one time. I don't like this one you posted because its just foam which will wear pretty quickly.
